Job: Head Coach

Carl Brierley

I am a Blackburn Rovers season ticket holder and life long fan. I have played football for various teams and coached both grassroots and senior non-league teams. I am a FA level 1 qualified coach and a qualified teacher. I also have a PE degree. It is my intention to use my experiences to support the progress and development of all the players I coach.

Kevin Kealey

In a moment of inspiration back in 1997, Kev created Brinscall Juniors with just one solitary team. With his children now all grown up, Kev has taken on a new team and plans to go through the 12 year grassroots cycle one more time!

Mark Thomas

I started coaching with Brinscall in 2017 and became the Blue Team Manager in 2019 when we split the teams ready for competing in the U7 leagues.

I hold an FA Level 1 Coaching qualification. I’m a massive Liverpool fan but as I can’t get to games I have a PNE season ticket. I have played since I can remember but had to stop playing competitive football in 2015 after a knee injury, however I still play non-competitive 5 a side.

My primary role with the Blues is to manage the team and provide fitness coaching. I thoroughly enjoy both roles, albeit the 2nd is a more recent addition!

We have an incredible bunch of kids who always give their best and enjoy what we do. Over the past year we have seen a marked improvement in all the players and we are excited to take them forward into the Under 8s.
